Valery Zaluzhny, the former head of the Ukrainian military and currently serving as the country's ambassador to the United Kingdom, believes that World War III has begun. He said, "I believe that in 2024 we can fully believe that World War III has begun."

Zaluzhny highlighted the involvement of North Korean troops in Russia and the use of Iranian weapons on the front lines. He said that the conflict in Ukraine has gone beyond its regional borders.

Pointing to the growing international involvement in the fighting in Ukraine, Zaluzhny said that the arrival of more than 10,000 North Korean troops and the presence of Iranian weapons require a coordinated global effort.

He said that it is clear that Ukraine already has many enemies. Ukraine will survive with technology, but it is not clear whether they can win this war alone. Zaluzhny also called on Kiev's allies to respond to Russia.

Zaluzhny's comments carry significance because of the leadership of Ukrainian forces during the Russian invasion in 2022. Although he was removed from military command earlier this year due to tensions with Volodymyr Zelensky, Zaluzhny remains a key figure in the country's strategic and political discussions.
